Whitney White is a Chicago native and recent Graduate of Northwestern University with a B.A. in Political Science and Certificate in Musical Theatre. Regional credits include Passing Strange (Bailiwick Chicago), Educating Rita (Shattered Globe), HAIR (Little Theatre on the Square), Girls vs Boys (House Theatre), RENT (Night Blue), The Hundred Dresses (Chi. Children’s), the Pulitzer Award winning Ruined (U/S, A/S The Goodman) and Caroline or Change (U/S, A/S Court Theatre). Coming next will be Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the Broadway Playhouse. Whitney was nominated by the Black Theatre Alliance for the Phylicia Rashad Award for Most Promising Actress. She also recently appeared on NBC’s “The Playboy Club”!
