Weston Blakesley In the fall of 2009 Weston took his first out of town theatre gig in the 18 years he had been living in Los Angeles.  Nicholas Nickleby in Chapel Hill, NC and fell in love with the amazing sound designer/composer Sarah Pickett.  Since Sarah's connections are in the theatre and Weston is a long time theatre rat they decided that Chicago was their kind of town.  In his 35 years of acting Weston has performed over 100 plays, half of those in Los Angeles, from the classics like the title role in Uncle Vanya, Mistress Quickly in Henry V, Polonius in Hamlet to world premiers Dickie & Babe: The Truth About Leopold & Loeb (he played Clarence Darrow) and Missouri Waltz written and starring Karen Black.  Of course the real reason to live in Los Angeles is on camera work.  His movies roles include Gus the barber in Pleasantville, the mangler in the low-budget horror film The Mangler Reborn and numerous low budget features.  Currently making the festival circuit is Nothing Special starring Karen Black and Barbara Bain.  On TV he appeared in the comedies Wings, Malcolm in The MiddleMarried With Children and several sketches on In Living Color.  In 2009 he was on Chuck and guest starred as the mean School Superintendent on the Nickelodeon show iCarly.  He has also done drama with appearances on The West Wing, General Hospital, Monk and Providence.  He's been in over 2 dozen commercials including nationals for LifeSavers, Hi-C, 21st Century Insurance, Cingular Wireless and Hallmark (to name a few).  You can check out his drama reel, comedy reel, commercial reel and even a horror reel on his website westonthewonderful.com
