Steve Wojtas, is most notably known for his regional work at American Players Theatre, Illinios Shakespeare Festival and Chciago Shakespeare.  He has played a wide range of roles, from a “youthful, funny Lysander” (Lindsay Christians , 77square.com) to a Kent that was “familiar and frightening” (Paul Kosidowski, Inside Milwaukee) in Reasons to Be Pretty. A native of Hampstead, NH,  Steve started his undergraduate work at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA as a Computer Science major but somehow ended up with a degree in Theatre. He then headed to the Midwest to get his MFA in Acting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison which he received in 2009.  Since arriving to Chicago he has put to use his vocal training and ability to do many varied and interesting character voices to begin a voiceover career that has spanned a narration for Discover Card to an exhausted soldier for the Playstation game Killzone 3. He has also started his film career, acting in many Columbia student films. When asked during a shoot, “So you do mostly film?” He replied, “No, mostly outdoor Shakespeare.” The surprise on the young filmmaker’s face told Steve that, whatever the future holds, he’s heading in the right direction.
