Even though Steve now lives in the Windy City, cheese still flows through his veins. After all, he is an XCheesehead. Growing up in Wisconsin made him a diehard Packer fan and watching WGN on cable as a boy made him a diehard Cub fan. Steve was thrilled to death when he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers after his junior year at Boise Teachers College. Tragically, he didn't make it through his rookie season after suffering a career ending haircut. Super Bowl 45 was actually named after the number of heart attacks Steve had watching the game.

After working at WMAD radio in Madison it was time to move to Chicago to do voiceovers. Along with print work and on-camera industrials Steve has had a blast performing voices straight and not so straight for commercial and narration projects. A proud member of AFTRA/SAG his clients include; Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Miller, Sears, Pepsi, Bud Light, Harley Davidson, The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, AT&T, KFC and many others.

The XCheesehead is also having a lot of fun voicing games and toys for clients like Learning Resources, VTech and Disney. Keep your ears open for Steve's voice on an upcoming Disney project for Winnie The Pooh set for a summer 2011 release.

You may also recognize him for his on-camera work on national tv commercials for such clients as WaMu and State Farm. He couldn't be prouder of his son Harrison who appeared in his first SAG commercial for Central DuPage Hospital.
