Shannon is poised, confident and lights up the room with her sunny personality. She is a dedicated quick learner with a positive attitude. She has earned accolades playing the roles of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Ariel in Footloose, Kim in Bye Bye Birdie, and Cosette in Les Miserables. She will be appearing as Fredrika Armfeldt in A Little Night Music at Writers' Theatre in May 2012.
Shannon's voice training includes both classical and musical theatre styles. She competed in the Chicago National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition where she won 1st place in Classical Performance and 2nd place in Musical Theatre.
When not on stage she enjoys horseback riding, dance, soccer, hanging out with friends and singing in her high school choir and acapella group.
Shannon aspires to learn and grow with each new opportunity.
