Sara Sevigny is an actor, singer, improviser, and writer. She says hello. Sara is quite particularly pleased to have been a part of the Gray Talent Group for the past few years. She's kind of amazed by them. A new member of Actors' Equity, Sara was last seen in Chicago Children's Theatre production of Goodnight Moon, and is currently in the world premiere of The Houdini Box with CCT at the Mercury Theatre and then moving to the North Shore Center of Performing Arts in Skokie.
Sara Sevigny is a 2007 Equity Jeff Award Winner for her role as Sara Jane Moore in Porchlight Music Theatre's production of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins. She has had the pleasure to be asked to work with such fantastic Chicago theaters as Chicago Children's Theatre, Fox Valley Rep, Caffeine Theatre, Chicago Opera Vanguard, Griffin, Porchlight Music Theatre, Timeline, Strawdog, Back Stage Theatre, Lifeline, Stage Left, The Hypocrites, and Defiant (RIP). A founding member of Open Eye Productions (RIP), Sara currently resides as an ensemble member with The Factory Theater. Go 20th Anniversary Season!
Born in Evanston, Sara graduated with her BA in Theatre/Communications from Curry College. She spent a glorious summer training at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, as well graduated Second City's conservatory back in the Stone Age of 1993. She also likes Diet Coke, in case you wanted to get her one.
