Noah Jerome Schwartz was born in the Chicago suburbs and lived there until he moved to Vermont in 2001. His early childhood education at the Waldorf School brought out his creativity and he would often perform for his family in such gear as a cape, cowboy boots and star-shaped sunglasses. Very articulate at a young age, he always had something special prepared for his mom's birthday, whether he was dressed as a cowboy, a pirate or a knight. An avid skiier and baseball player,he moved back to the Chicago suburbs in 2005, where baseball dominated his sporting life (due to the lack of great skiing in the area). A very talented player and a member of his community's travel team, in 2007 he was enrolled in the summer camp program run by the Apple Tree Theatre in Highland Park, Illinois, to remind him that there are other outlets besides sports. His first summer at Apple Tree landed him a starring role in their production of the Pirates of Lake Michigan. He stole the show as Smee, Captain Hook's first mate and his love of performing was reborn. He returned to the camp the next year and enjoyed the lead in their production of Hail to the Chief. Noah is currently preparing to play Fleance in the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre's production of Macbeth.
