Michael is a native of New Orleans and has lived in Chicago since 2005.  Back in New Orleans, while studying Drama at Loyola University, Michael was fortunate enough to work and train at two Equity theaters, The Shakespeare Festival at Tulane and Southern Repertory Theatre (where he played Patrick Chibas in the Southern premiere of Spinning Into Butter by Rebecca Gilman).  In 2003, he landed a supporting role in the indie-teen-comedy Freshman Orientation, which premiered several months later at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.

One week after Hurricane Katrina swept through Louisiana in '05, Michael moved to Chicago, and has had the pleasure of working with some wonderful companies such as Collaboraction, The Side Project, ChicagoFusion, Dog and Pony, The House, and Steep.  Production highlights include Hatfield & McCoy(The House),  As Told by the Vivian Girls (Dog and Pony), and In Arabia, We'd All be Kings (Steep).  In October 2009, Michael can be seen in Steep Theater's production of Short Eyes, directed by K. Todd Freeman.
