Michael Leon was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Florida International University with a BFA in Theater. Before moving to Chicago he has directed and performed in a variety of shows in South Florida. He is also a teaching artist who has worked at Miami Children's Theater and Northlight.
Some of his recent credits include The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit (JPAC), Pretty, Smart, Poetic (Odradek Theater), and Junie B. Jones in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells!(Emerald City).
