Originally from Idaho, Matt began improvising in Boulder Colorado where he was the director and co-founder of the amazing group Left Right TIM.  After putting up a show in the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he moved to Chicago where he has been studying and performing improv and sketch comedy.  He has studied at The Annoyance Theater and iO Training Center.  Matt Currently performs with The Dirty Shame, Skinprov, The Lady Screams, and The Mi National Touring Company.  Matt is also a producer for The Dinner Detective Chicago, and is a two-time US Air Guitar National Finalist (yes this is a real thing), where he performs under the stage name of Thundergland.
