Lori Myers has recently been in New York performing in David Cromer's critically acclaimed, Obie Award-winning production of Our Town.  Of her preformance, Hilton Als of The New Yorker said "No one is more brilliant at conveying the layers of a character than Lori Myers. We believe everything that Myers does, because she believes in the play, because she believes in the inner life of her character."  She returned to Chicago to portray Theresa in Circle Mirror Transformation at the Victory Gardens Theatre. Chris Jones of The Chicago Tribune said, "As Myers, whose performance here really is the life force and sensual energy of this production, clearly understands, never-ending process is all this character has left."

Lori has worked continuously on film and commercial projects throughout her career. She has worked and on numerous independent film and feature film projects over the years, for which she possesses a great passion. Lori has such represented such brands as Humana Insurance, Little Caesar's, Comcast, Direct One, Wisconsin Heart Hospital, Empire, Solo Cups, and many others.  She has an M.A. in Performance Studies summa cum laude from the University of London, Goldsmith's College and a B.A. in Acting from Illinois State University.  Mrs. Myers has worked with Steppenwolf, Upright Citizen's Brigade, Bailiwick Rep, Theatre Wit, Shattered Globe, Vitalist Theatre, Redmoon Theater, Next Theatre, Plasticene, and countless other vibrant theatres in Chicago, Providence, New York, and London.

All this sounds very serious, but at the end of the day Lori owns plastic crayfish and cheerleads in a geeky marching band and is mostly seen rocking out at eardrum-splitting concerts. She won Best Original Comedy when she was 14 years old and was hooked ever since. Lori and her husband own a farm in Michigan where she is seen most days on a red tractor from the 1950's (pesky groundhogs, beware!) and having a beer on tap at the Wolverine Wintergarden, the dump down the street.
