John moved to Chicago from Michigan in 1993, and continues to broaden himself with invaluable Theatre, Film, Commercial, and Voiceover experience.  Theatre groups John has worked with in Chicago include A Red Orchid Theatre, Mary Arrchie, Noble Fool Theatricals, Shattered Globe, Famous Door, Factory, Live Bait, Cave 76, Corn Productions, and in 1997 John discovered Trap Door Theatre where he has since appeared in numerous productions, and where he is now a proud company member.  He has performed both in NYC and in Romania with Trap Door and is heading back to Eastern Europe again this Spring '09 for another Romanian tour.  Also this past Summer '08 John was very fortunate enough to have performed at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Superior Donuts, by Tracy Letts, making this the 2nd time now where he has been lucky enough to go on as an understudy in a Tracy Letts work, the first being in 1999 when he appeared as "Killer" Joe Cooper, in Killer Joe at The Theatre, in Chicago.    John is also a proud father of two amazing kids, John and Hayley whom he gets to perform for and play with on a daily basis!
