Jeff Murdoch is originally from the Metro Detroit area where he was born and raised. He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he earned a BA with a double major in History and Film. It was during this time at U of M that a local improv comedy theater, called Improv Inferno, opened up which really got him interested in writing and performing on the stage.  In the fall of 2007 he moved to Chicago to pursue comedy and since has trained at the iO,Annoyance, and The Playground Training Centers, all of which he can be seen performing at regularly.
