Born and raised in the suburb of Evanston, IL, Eric Sherman-Christ knew at the age of nine that acting was his calling.  Being inspired by his third grade drama teacher, Eric decided to try is talent on stage. 

Three years later at the age of twelve he landed his first leading role in an African folk tale THE MAGIC TREE.  While in school he continued to move forward in his craft landing other stage appearances in; A RAISIN IN THE SUN, THE PIANO LESSON, E.R., EDEN & MARVIN'S ROOM, to name a few.

In 2008, after working with Timeline Theatre in A HOUSE WITH NO WALLS, he signed with Gray Talent Group of Chicago, IL, Eric has been working steadily on projects in television commercials; including a spot for the food chain Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant. His credits also include State Farm Insurance, Illinois State Lottery, Qdoba Mexican Grill and La Rosa Pizza.

With the completion his three season run of a one man show; THE LIFE and TIMES of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., with Historical Perspectives for Children, Eric is thrilled to be on the main stage with Mary-Arrchie Theatre Company performing RIFF RAFF by Lawrence Fishburne. 

He is also the president and founder of ESC Artiste Consulting in Chicago, IL, established in 2009.
