Elliott has been performing since his first DJ contest at age 15. He acted in high school and college (including playing the psychopathic killer in Arsenic and Old Lace) and a summer stock production of Sabrina Fair. He worked as an announcer and newscaster in both radio and television in his hometown of Pittsburgh. There was always some aspect of performance or presentation in his career pursuits which range through government, education, and corporate sales and marketing. This diverse background in “the real world,” along with having lived in five states, helps inform his acting and commercial appearances. 

He began acting full-time in Chicago 2003 and has performed with more than a dozen Chicago theatre companies, both new and well established. Notable roles include those in The Elephant Man, Galileo, Amadeus, The Mousetrap, The Importance of Being Earnest, Frankenstein, Treasure Island and The Crucible. He played Uncle Sam in a new musical: the Jeff-recommended production ofThe History of the United States with Quest Theatre Ensemble. One of his specialties is British dialect which he has used in theatre and in commercial engagements such as Harry Potter, The Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry. Elliott is a founding company member of the side project , described as “One of the most interesting and innovative theatres in Chicago.” 

Film credits include The Thirsting with Mickey Rooney and The Art of Pain: Inspire an Artist. Ruin his Life, an award winner at numerous film festivals. He has appeared in television commercials and corporate videos. 

His degrees are in Mathematics. Go figure.
