Elenna Sindler loves singing and peforming and at an early age appeared in numerous local community drama productions.  At nine, Elenna auditioned for her local “Idol” contest where she competed and took second place.  The following year, she was a featured performer at her community “Just Say No” rally and, later that summer, sang courtside before the W&SF Masters and Women’s Open Tennis Tournament in Cincinnati.


At 10, Elenna made her professional acting debut in A Red Orchid Theatre’s satirical musical production of “A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant,” which ran successfully for two seasons.  Elenna is also a founding member of the theatre company’s Youth Ensemble, which will perform at Collaboraction’s Sketchbook Festival.  She has also appeared with Northwestern University’s Spectrum Theatre and ECC Musical Theatre Company in Elgin.


Music being her first passion, Elenna can be seen mixing it up with an all-kids blues-rock trio called Northbrook Garage, who together play local music venues, charity events and summer festivals.  Elenna also loves to dance, and studies ballet, jazz and hip-hop.  She danced for several years with a community hip-hop troupe, performing at various venues including the United Center at a Chicago Bulls game.


Elenna's ethnic background is Japanese, Italian, and Eastern European.  A straight-A student, Elenna is mature, hard-working, and has the ability to quickly memorize and retain material.
