Chris Redd was born in St. Louis, Missouri but has been in the Chicago Land Area for over 10 years. Studying and performing Hip-hop and R&B for the first half of his life, he is very musically inclined and comfortable onstage. In College, after performing in Pillars of Fire and hosting numerous variety shows around the city, he decided to pursue comedy andacting. Now, Chis is attending Second City Chicago in both Music and Reg. Conservatory Programs, iO.  He also works as a freelance writer, stand-up comedian, improvisor, and sketch writer, all while enrolled in college as a student in journalism and mass communication. He  performs regulary at The playground, The Second City and other theaters with his two man group, Redd & Slater, as well as numerous theaters with sketch/Improv groups The Freshmen and NOW in Technicolor.  He also rund the Core Comedy wiriting team. Chis has written and preformed in 3 shows and looks forward to a 4th debuting in May at the Pub Theater.  Chris wants to change the world with laughter while bringing a fresh voice to comedy. Side note: He likes pit bulls and Jesus.
