Buddy learned to dance 31 years ago, in a small town, one room studio in Indiana. At age 7, he used to sit in the doorway and watch the tap class that preceded his sisters. “I loved the sounds, the rhythms. I thought they were cool and I had to learn how to make them!” He went on to Ball State University where he took all the advanced dance classes in 2 years, transferred to Chicago’s Columbia College and quickly began performing in musical theatre. Buddy is a 12 year member of Actors Equity Association.
As a performer, his credits include: 42nd Street (Andy Lee), Cabaret (Emcee), Kama Sutra (Swami) cast recording available on i-tunes, Cats (Mongojerrie), West Side Story (Arab), Gypsy (Tulsa) and Sleeping Beauty (Prince Hunter). He was featured in All Night Strut, Millie, Peter Pan and Swing. Buddy also co-owns
C. R. Rainbow Studio, a Chicago recording studio.
Buddy also enjoys directing and choreographing. All Shook Up (Little Theatre on the Square) “Can’t help falling in love with All Shook Up” shouts the Daily Union. And running nine months at Davenports, Kama Sutra! “Supersadomasochisticsexpialodocious” writes Chicago’s Daily Herald and it’s “Racy and Outrageous” says theChicago Sun-Times.
Buddy enjoys watching auto racing, working on cars, cats, performing and keeping that inner light bright. He is looking to do a tour and expand into film/television.
