ANN WITHOUT AN "E" - Ann ( without an "e" please since her mother always said her name was not a 4-letter word!) Hagemann was raised in Central IL. and is very proud of her rural, heart of America upbringing!  She now spends most of her time in Chicago, and travels wherever the auditions and work take her.  She recently spent some time in LA training and educating herself about the market there, in preparation for a future move.  First and foremost, Ann views her 

acting career as a business... 

WORK HIGHLIGHTS - In Nov. of '08 Ann filmed the feature "Hannah Free" based on the stage play by Claudia Allen.  Ann plays the role of Rachel opposite actress Sharon Gless.  Premieres projected for summer/early fall '09.   If you're travelling in Europe this spring, you'll be able to see her as Dixie, the female lead in the independent feature film "The Showdown".  ( Horse back riding lessons were very helpful since this is a western!) 

Kate in "Shrew", Catherine Holly in "Suddenly Last Summer", Mrs. Anna in "The King and I", and Nancy in "Oliver" are just a few of Ann's favorite stage credits.  To see several examples of Ann's commerical/film work, visit actorsaccess.com. 

TRAINING - American Dramatics Academy, TVI, Actors Center of Chicago, & ISU.  She's also studied with Catherine Head of Roosevelt Univ., Leslee Dennis, Tim Gregory, David Petro, & Marina Gilman.  Studying never ends-Ann is always on the "journey"... 

FAVORITE BOOKS - "No Acting Please" by Morris & Hotchkis; and anything by Stephen King!  ( Ann secretly sees herself starring in the film version of "Rose Madder"!) 

IN CONCLUSION - Ann is a woman that loves working collaboratively, seeing the rushes at the end of the shoot day, amassing life experience, using developed /skills and raw emotion, acting without acting, and residual income!   AHHH!   Can't beat that residual income!
