Amy, a Chicago-land native, is thrilled to be returning to the city after spending the past year pursuing an M.A. degree in acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. While studying at the Royal Conservatoire, Amy performed at venues like Shakespeare's Globe Theatre-London, the Traverse Theatre-Edinburgh, as well as The Arches and the Tron Theatre-Glasgow. Prior to living in Scotland, Amy spent time in New York City working with The Barrow Group, ENACT, and Re:directions Theatre Company. She also appeared on ABC's ALL MY CHILDREN for over a year. Over the summer of 2010, Amy produced and appeared in the original short film WHEN YOU NEED THEM, which is screening at film festivals in both the US and abroad and recently received a Golden Ace Award from the Las Vegas Film Festival.
Amy received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and is so inspired to return to Chicago's theater community. Amy's Chicago credits include productions with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, ShawChicago Theater Company, Marriott's Lincolnshire Theater, SecondCity Chicago, and Theater at the Center. Regionally, Amy has performed with Utah Shakespearean Festival and American Folklore Theater in Door County, WI.
