 A southern girl born and raised, Amanda Leigh Summey began dancing at the age of 4 at the Columbia Conservatory of Dance in Columbia, South Carolina where she found her love for the stage performing in several ballets over including, Coppelia, Cleopatra, the Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet and many more over a span of 14 years. By high school  she began auditioning for straight plays and from then on her aspirations changed from becoming a prima ballerina to becoming an award winning actress. Amanda is now working towards becoming a better actress at Northwestern University where she is working towards her Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre. She very much so believes that theatre can be used to affect positive change on a global scale. She also believes a glass of good sweet tea can turn any bad or ordinary day into a phenomenal one. She feels so blessed to have the opportunity to work with Gray Talent Group and is thrilled to begin working in Chicago!
